Birthday Girlies

What a week it has been. Ellie has turned 5 and Chloe and Lucy are 1 (2 in a few days). They had a joint party at Hullabaloo in Cradley on Saturday 15th.

Uncle Paul organised for a Fire Engine to pick the girls and their friends up out of the street and take them to the party. Ellie had no idea and I actually cried when she saw the Fire Engine with Uncle Paul driving - she was soooo shocked. They all enjoyed themselves.

Off to Hullabaloo and next thing I know Chloe & Lucy have decided that they are now 2 and are therefore going to come down the really big slides. Best bit was when I tried to catch them at the bottom of the slide to tell them "No" as I really did think that the slide was too big they just didn't eyeball me and ran off. Little madams.

Anyway we had a really great time - Nanny Judy did some fabulous cakes too!

Ok, so if you read the papers or diaries then Spring has meant to have arrived today - Hello would someone mind telling Spring. It is freezing.

Mark, myself and the girlies went to Devon at the weekend, Saturday was freezing - walking around Paignton Zoo was an experience still the girls all seemed to enjoy it. Sunday was warmer but still on the chilly side. Managed a walk down the river and then back to the Lodge.

We, here I actually mean Mark but in the interest of saving my marriage, decided to let the girls "play" in the car whilst we finishing packing it. All packed and ready to go some 1/2 hour later and no sign of life was to be had from the car. It seems that the "duracell" battery on the car didn't want to play any longer. Can't imagine why I mean the girls had the following going all at the same time, headlights, radio, hazard lights, wind-screenwipers (front and back) etc etc and we needed to call the AA. Good job "I've got a friend" as the old advert goes. Mr AA was out within the hour and fixed - didn't tell him the reason for the low battery. Afterall I pay my price and take my chances!

Back to the grindstone again, Mark back to work and Ellie back to school. She is in the School Assembly reading out the prayer on Thursday - bless her - she is practising really hard.

The White Girls

Hi All,

Thought it was about time that we did a little blog on our gorgeous daughters. At least then when I am running around like a headless chicken everyone can get an update.

Enjoy

Lots of Love

Karen
